Was there a good mix of D/deaf & hearing volunteers on your trip? How did you find communication?

How do you think you benefitted from the experience?

“I learned a lot about underprivileged deaf people, about myself, and I now have a better awareness that I have the power to help make a difference.”

What did you learn?

“Lots of Deaf schools need our help, and even the smallest things make a big difference to them.”

What did you like about the VoluntEars programme?

“The balance between activities and volunteering—you don’t often find this with many volunteer organizations.”

“Organizing everything.”

How can VoluntEars improve?
