What did you learn?

Nepal Sign Language, Nepal culture.

What did you like about the VoluntEars programme?

Allowing deaf people to visit a country but also giving back to the deaf community.

How do you think you benefitted from the experience?

Experiencing a developing country and having to adapt and try new things.

What did VoluntEars do well?

Fitting all the activities in the 2 weeks although I feel 2 1/2 or 3 weeks is possible. How they looked after everyone and everything we did was just spot on, couldn’t ask for more.

What was your funniest or most memorable experience ?

Richard Clowes [VoluntEars Director] giving me a pie as a present, jokes and laughs we all had when trekking, Cockroach’s in the rooms.
